Can Fish Tail Braids Leave You With Wavy Hair?
i just learned how to do a fish tail braid and i was wondering: if you braid damp hair, then leave it in over night, will the fish tail braids give you nice, wavy hair? if you’ve done it before please let me know how they look and what your natural hair type is. also, pics would be awesome! thanks sososo much =)
I used to do this a lot when I was young. Yes, it definitely makes it wavy. You have to make sure it dries completely, and possible even blow dry it.
I have stick straight hair, very hard to curl…This works for me though!

You might have to braid ot over the weekend where only youll see it to test it out! Good Luck!
I don’t know about braiding it wet, it might not dry. I would try braiding it dry and yes you will have wavy hair. I used to have long hair and my mom would put two french braids, one on each side. I’d sleep overnight and in the morning it was wavy, almost like a sprial perm. Fishtail braids are tighter though I think, it might be more than just a wavy look when you took it out. My hair was straight and fine.
