Fish Line Braiding?

3

I fish at st croix river and almost always get a Huge Carp on my line, the problem is is that the line breaks! I was thinking I could Braid it (kinda like Hair Braiding) and use that, will it work? oh yeah, Im only fishing off a dock so I dont need to cast.

You can just buy it! Braided line has a smaller diameter and higher test than mono. Only drawback is you can only use a palamor knot on ytour hook and you have to back it w/ mono! (it’s too slippery to gain the spool)

you could not braid monofilament like that parts of it would chafe or twist so I do not think it would work.
if you cannot afford new stronger line I suppose it might be worth a try

just go out and buy it, it’s easier and if you braid mono. it will make a big mess if 1 strand of mono. would happen to break.
