How To Attach A Fluorocarbon Leader?

5

If I want to attach a fluorocarbon leader to the end of braided line for the invisibility when fishing in clear waters would I use a swivel or just tie a double uni? I am talking about when texas rigging or some other slow moving tactic. Also I am talking about when I am using a bobber presentation for panfishing.

the double uni knot has served me very well. I personally do not like swivels unless needed for line twist. It doesn’t make too much sense to use flouro and a swivel.kinda defeats the purpose. the uni knot is easy to tie and wont slip with superbraids, good luck

Double Uni. It’s alot more streamline.

Use the uni-knot with a couple extra wraps with the braid portion. For extra insurance against slippage, you may wish to add just a drop of super glue to the braid.

Double Uni is first choice. Swivels are pretty easy to get, and you can also buy them pre-made at any place that sells tackle. Good luck

    snap-swivels make life much easier.
