What Brand/test Of Fishing Line Is Best For Muskie?

I use an Abu Garcie Revo baitcaster and a Shimano Compre rod. I was looking at some “crystal” line the other day and it looked nice. I’m using 30# braided SpiderWire right now but the dye seems to come off it fast and I’m afraid the fish can see it.

    Power Pro or Dacron.
    Power Pro 10/40- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores…
    Dacron 20LB- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores…
    Many people use Dacron. However, Power Pro has a smaller diameter and better strength.

    i run 20 or 30 lb green shaded el cheapo stuff with steel leaders if im running after musky but hey i run plugs if im that far north because you never know what you gonna catch but area to area diffrent things work
    down here you have to run green tubes to catch small mouths

    After three or four days of not taking a shower I smell a bit muskie. Any line will pick me up then.
