   There are a lot of types and styles of tackle boxes on the market today. Some are soft sided with removable plastic boxes, some are hard plastic with trays that are built in, and some are a combination of both. My suggestion is to go to a fishing tackle retailer and “play” with them all. My choice is the one that is a combination of both. I bought several extra plastic boxes so I can interchange depending on the type of fishing I do. However, my favorite is my fishing vest.

   I’ve had my Plano for about 20 years and it’s as good as the day I bought it. The only bad thing is if you turn it upside down everything is a mess. The one T Bone put a link to looks nice and I like those trays because they keep everything separate and organized. Seems like a good price as well. If my plano ever wears out or breaks, I’m going to go with one like T Bone’s.

   I just checked out the Plano Chill. Thats nice as well but I don’t see a shoulder strap.. Cool.

   Get a soft bag. That way you can choose your lures to take easier by just picking up a stowaway box.

   plano makes a good box. just make sure it’s plastic worm proof.
