What Line Is Better? Spiderwire Or Super Braid?
I fish in lake Ontario and the Erie canal. Spiderwire or super braid? And what kind of spoogles work best with using lures?

stren super braid…spectra

berkley whiplash…microdyneema
berkley fireline…microdyneema
all the braids are made of gel-spun polyethelene. no matter what they call it.
a “spoogle” is some kind of … uhh … er… thing particular to the erie canal.
Try power-pro it has a better track record than both of those lines or the sufix super braid is a good one too now with these lines you need to follow directions on how to knot them they are slick and regular knots won’t hold that great and when done doing the knot most companies recommend to use a super glue on the knot too,And your question about spoogies i just don’t know that.
Well unless you are bass fishing in heavy cover go with the mono spider wire like stated be for it is much more manageable and has a longer casting distance. the braided line is better for pitching and pulling big fish out of heavy cover and has a shorter casting distance
Wormist gets my vote. Thumbs.
Most of the braided lines are made from the same stuff. However, their construction can be different.
For example- Power Pro/Stren Superbraid has a “circular” design that helps it “spring” off a spinning reel easier, (making it easier to cast).
Regular Spiderwire has a “flat” design more suited to conventional/baitcasting reels.
PS- Er……define “spoogle”.
spider wire is a more manageable line. especially at a higher weight.
definitely spider wire
