I mean, come on the dude is gonna catch what? A monster? No. Fish in the 1-5 pound range OCCASIONALLY catching a cat 15 lbs. It’s ridiculous. All you really need for situations like this is a bass sized outfit. Yea, a 6′-7′ medium action rod, with a smaller reel with 12-20 lb. monofilament. Does people do this just to make people believe that they are catching 50 + flatheads in a 10′ creek?
