Something that can cast all shorts of lures and baits and to be used for varous fishing techniques.

Before the invention of “Kevlar-based” fishing lines I ,personally, would have many different diameter /# on my various fishing rods.
Now that Kevlar-lines are a reality, most of my fishing poles are spooled with either Berkley 4/10 or Stren Super Braid. (I don’t mid-deep water “crank” or “top-water” with braid.) I have never had an issue with these lines other than if they got “hung-up” and I had to cut the line.
Am I taking crazy pills? Why would anyone NOT want to fish with braid,(other than trolling, deep-cranking, & topwater)? Heck, I’ve even made fly-fishing “tippet’s” with B. Fireline that work GREAT!
I’m surprised the “mono” company’s have even managed to stay OPEN!
So, If you could ONLY fish with 1 type of line what LB would it be? And would you choose Braid or Mono?
